Michel Janssen is the Chief Research Officer at the Hackett Group. He is responsible for developing The Hackett Group's core intellectual property, including thought leadership. He also heads Hackett's team of researchers and analysts in the US, Europe and India in the design and implementation of research studies; analysis of results; and production of resulting findings.
George Westerman is a Research Scientist at MIT Sloan School of Management for Information Systems Research. His research and executive presentations focus on senior management challenges such as IT risk, value measurement, and innovation. He has been published in Sloan Management Review, MIS Quarterly Executive, and IESE Insight, as well as academic journals. Books include IT Risk: Turning Business Threats Into Competitive Advantage and The Real Business of IT: How CIOs Create and Communicate Value.
Chris Smith, the CIO for the US Department of Agriculture. He has executive leadership responsibility for all USDA Information Technology Investments, Operations and Management. He provides leadership for USDA's IT Architecture, IT Policy, Cyber Security Operations and the Department's operational portfolio including Network, Enterprise Data Centers, International Technology Services, and Innovations group.
