Get ready for the 2nd annual River North Challenge, Tuesday, June 28
The second annual River North Challenge (formerly known as the RNBA Sleep Around Challenge) takes place Tuesday, June 28 in River North.

CHICAGO, IL, May 06, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The second annual River North Challenge (formerly known as the RNBA Sleep Around Challenge) takes place Tuesday, June 28 in River North. The annual event, organized by the River North Business Association, showcases many of the area's top hotels and gives participants a fun and challenging opportunity to experience the area, socialize and win prizes.

"The RNBA Challenge is one of Chicago's premiere events," says Jackie Kim, event chair and owner of Tiffani Kim Institute Medical and Wellness Spa. "It's perfect for the River North neighborhood. We're known as the city's central hub for lifestyle and entertainment. This event gives participants an insider's look at some of our most popular hotels and encourages team play. "

Joining the Challenge this year are the dana hotel and spa, Hampton Inn and Suites Chicago Downtown, Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Magnificent Mile, Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza, Palomar Chicago, Residence Inn/Springhill Suites Chicago River North and selected spots throughout River North. The emphasis is on the Challenge aspect! At each major stop participants will have to answer questions related to math, word searches or trivia as well as compete in physical dexterity, a la "Minute to Win It."

The goal is to collect the most tickets as possible, out challenging other competitors. As teams meander through the various venues, they will have their "passport" stamped. The competitors completing the "trip" having received all of their passport stamps and collecting the most "tickets" will win.

Each major hotel stop will provide food and beverages to keep up everyone's energy! Also located throughout the streets of River North will be members of the ComedySportz improv troupe. Stop and talk with them to win even more tickets!

Tickets also will be entered into a drawing for great prizes such as dining certificates, cocktail parties and hotel stays. A prize also will be awarded to the team with the best team apparel - t-shirts, hats or entire costumes!

It's a bargain at $35 per person. If you register as a team of four, you get a price break at $125. Come alone or with friends, you'll be paired with others to make up the 4-person team.

Registration takes place at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Challenge takes place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is followed by an after party at Zed451 Rooftop from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 28. For questions, call RNBA at 312-645-1047.
