Premiere Illinois Beauty School, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, Unveils $5,000 Scholarship Award Winner!
Tricoci University of Beauty Culture Awards Facebook Contest Scholarship to Future Beauty Professional
CHICAGO, IL, March 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The votes are in! Bianca Wolfe is the winner of a $5,000 dollar scholarship to attend the Tricoci University of Beauty Culture (TUBC).
In an effort to help a talented beauty school hopeful get started in their career during these difficult economic times, TUBC launched a Facebook online contest to give potential beauty school students an opportunity to show their best work and passion to enter into the beauty industry.
"The response to the contest was fantastic; the many contestants posted some really creative work," said Mario Tricoci, founder of Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. "Our fans' favorite, Bianca Wolfe, shows real promise, and we are happy to help her fund the TUBC education that will allow her to become a true beauty professional."
The contest, hosted on the "Tricoci University of Beauty Culture" Facebook fan page, started on January 8, 2010, where participants posted photos and videos of their best amateur cosmetology work to the fan page. The Facebook community then voted via 'likes,' and the participant who received the most 'likes' by March 8, 2010, was declared the winner.
"I am thrilled that TUBC offered this opportunity to help achieve my dream, and I want to thank my family, friends, and all Tricoci University Facebook fans that supported my work to make my dream a reality," said Bianca Wolfe. "I can't wait to get my career started in this creative, fulfilling industry!"
Bianca will begin her new cosmetology career path in the beauty industry after graduating from Chicago Academy High School in June. She will enroll at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture's Chicago NW Campus, located near O'Hare airport at 5321 N Harlem Avenue, Chicago.
